Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Nothing. Vibe Coder Tycoon does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information or usage data. Specifically, the app contains:

• No analytics. No analytics SDKs, no telemetry, no crash-reporting services operated by us, and no event tracking of any kind.
• No advertising. No ad networks, no ad identifiers, and no advertising SDKs.
• No tracking. No cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-app/cross-site tracking. The app makes no network requests to our servers, because we don't have servers.
• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, no email to hand over, and no password to reuse against our advice.

Your game progress is stored in a save file on your device. If you have iCloud enabled at the operating-system level, Apple may sync that save file between your devices as part of its standard device backup and sync features; this happens under Apple's control and Apple's privacy policy, and we never see the data.

2. What we share

Nothing. We cannot share what we do not have. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose any personal information, because no personal information ever reaches us.

3. Third parties

There are none. The app embeds no third-party services, SDKs, or data processors.

Two adjacent notes for completeness:

• Apple. You buy the game through the App Store or Mac App Store, so Apple processes your purchase under Apple's own privacy policy. We receive aggregated, anonymized sales figures from Apple — the same numbers any developer gets — and nothing about you individually.
• This website. It is a static site: no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no contact forms. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses in access logs) for security and operational purposes, as virtually all web hosts do; we do not use these logs to identify anyone.

4. Children's privacy

Vibe Coder Tycoon is rated 12+ for infrequent/mild crude humor. Because the app collects no data from anyone, it also collects no data from children. We are comfortably in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR's provisions on children's data, and similar laws, by the straightforward mechanism of not collecting anything from anybody.

5. Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. We honor these rights fully, and exercising them is instantaneous, because the complete set of personal data we hold about you is the empty set. If you would like to delete your local save file: starting a new game overwrites it, retiring or abandoning a run deletes it outright, and deleting the app removes it along with everything else.

6. Changes to this policy

If a future update ever changes what the app does with data — for example, if we add an opt-in feature that requires a network connection — we will update this policy before that version ships, change the effective date at the top, and describe the change in plain language. We will not quietly swap "nothing" for "something."
